Dr. Carey currently serves as the metropolitan leader of the Caribbean with Global United Fellowship, pastor of Glad Tidings Tabernacle, and as president of the Key West Educational Broadcast Foundation, both located in Key West, Florida. He is also the Chief Visionary of The CTC Network, a global mobile non-profit organization that provides consulting, training, and coaching services to leaders and their teams.
Jonathan and Shena entered ministry in 1982 and together have served in numerous places and positions. Jonathan has served as a Pastor, National Youth Director, Bible School Director, District and National Official, and as Director of Teen Challenge of Florida.
In 1993, Dr. Carey spearheaded the development of Programme S.U.R.E. (Success Ultimately Reassures Everyone) a Bahamian Public alternative school for students with chronic disciplinary problems, and served as the Grand Bahama principal for six years. All together, he has invested 15 years in public and private educational institutions as an educator and administrator.
Jonathan has also served as a member of the Bahamas National Crime Commission, chairperson of the Bahamas National Youth Advisory Board, and as chairperson of The Ministry of Tourism, West Grand Bahama Community Tourism Board.
Jonathan is a Marriage Officer for The Bahamas and Florida, and a Justice of The Peace in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Jonathan and his wife Shena are the proud parents of three adult children.
